Tyler, TX currently does not have a station for passenger rail service. However, Amtrack's Texas Eagle, which connects San Antonio and Chicago, passes through two nearby East Texas cities twice daily - both stations are within driving distance of Tyler.
The southbound route (Train #21) to San Antonio usually arrives between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. The northbound route (Train #22) to Chicago usually arrives between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. Amtrack's schedule is subject to change at any time without notice.

While in Tyler, you may want to visit our Historic Cotton Belt Depot, which was built in 1905 providing commercial and passenger service. Located near Tyler's switching yard, a portion of the depot now serves as a museum of the relics used during Tyler's big train days.
