DIRECTIONS TO TYLER, TX

The directions below will lead you to Loop 323, which surrounds our City allowing you to reach any destination within City limits. The directions we chose are the most commonly used routes, though you can certainly choose your own path!

Dallas, TX

DALLAS, TX AREA (90 MILES) :

  • Travel east on Interstate 20
  • Take EXIT-556 and turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 69
  • You will arrive on the northwest corner of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 7 miles

Houston, TX

HOUSTON, TX (195 MILES):

  • Travel north on Interstate 45
  • Take EXIT-178 in Buffalo and turn right (east) on U.S. Highway 79
  • Approaching Palestine, turn left (west/north) on Loop 256
  • Exit Loop 256 at intersection with State Highway 155 and turn left (north)
  • You will arrive on the southwest corner of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 42 miles

Austin, TX

AUSTIN, TX (220 MILES):

  • Travel north on Interstate 35
  • In Waco, merge onto U.S. Highway 84 to the right heading north/east
  • After approximately 6 miles, merge left onto State Highway 31 heading east
  • You will arrive on the west side of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 115 miles

Shreveport, LA

SHREVEPORT, LA (90 MILES) :

  • Travel west on Interstate 20
  • Take EXIT-571A and turn left (southwest) on U.S. Highway 271
  • You will arrive on the northeast corner of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 9 miles

Little Rock, AR

LITTLE ROCK, AR (260 MILES):

  • Travel west on Interstate 30
  • In Mount Pleasant, TX, turn left onto U.S. Highway 271 and drive south
  • You will arrive on the northeast corner of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 68 miles

Oklahoma City, OK

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (290 MILES):

  • Travel south on Interstate 35
  • In Denton, TX, take the Interstate 35E South exit (Stemmons Freeway)
  • Approaching Dallas, exit onto Interstate 635 East
  • Exit onto U.S. Highway 80 heading east toward Terrell
  • Merge onto Interstate 20 heading east
  • Take EXIT-556 and turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 69
  • You will arrive on the northwest corner of Tyler's Loop 323 in approximately 7 miles

Interesting FactWhen looking for a particular address, it is often confusing as to which side of the road you expect your destination will be located. We can help you with this piece of advice:

The actual center of Tyler, TX is located at the intersection of Broadway and Erwin, which is in downtown Tyler. As you move from this point in any direction, all odd-numbered addresses will be on your right and all even-numbered addresses will be on your left.

For example, the CVB offices, which are located at 315 N. Broadway are north of this intersection. If we drive north from this intersection toward our offices, odd-numbered addresses should be on our right, which we are!

Broadway Square Mall also has an odd-numbered address (4601 S. Broadway), but is located on the other side of Broadway . That is because if you drive south from our "center of Tyler" toward the mall, odd-numbered addresses should be on your right, which the Mall is!
